Ways to Serve
Each Sunday CrossPointe Church welcomes hundreds of people, so our need for people to serve in our ministry teams is always growing. Serving our guests, community, and church family is an amazing opportunity. It is an opportunity to grow in relationship with one another and to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ! The following ministry teams provide us with these opportunities:
CONNECTIONS TEAM
With many people coming through our doors every Sunday morning the mission of the connections team is to help everyone feel welcome. Whether that is greeting someone when they come in, handing them a cup of coffee, or making sure our guests know where they can take their kids for children's ministry.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
One thing that is evident all through the life of Christ is His love for children. At CrossPointe we desire to show Christ's love to our children through: teaching, fellowship, and worship. We see it as so important that children know the love of Christ at a young age.
PRODUCTION TEAM
CrossPointe is a portable church, so pulling off all the elements of a contemporary and relevant worship service is no simple task. From setting up and tearing down, to sound, lights, video, and PowerPoint our production team has a great responsibility of creating an environment in which people can encounter the heart of God.
WORSHIP TEAM
To be a part of our worship team is about being a lead worshiper. It is about living a life of worship that leads people into the presence of God. On Sunday morning this team leads CrossPointe church into God's presence through song. Anyone who is a gifted musician or vocalist with a heart to worship God is encouraged to join this team.
OTHER WAYS TO SERVE
There are also many other opportunities to serve that are not limited to Sunday morning. If you are gifted in a particular area and have a heart to use those gifts in our church and the Kingdom please let us know. Below are just a few ways outside of Sunday that you can be a part of serving your church family.
ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM
Pulling off the day to day tasks for our staff is a regular challenge. If you desire to serve with mailings, phone calls, and other administrative tasks we could sure use your help.
EVENTS TEAM
Throughout the year we host different events for our church body and community. These events require planning and preparation to connect people to our church body. If you enjoy planning events, cooking, decorating, or helping in any way this team is for you.
FINANCIAL TEAM
As God has gifted us, we desire to honor Him by being good stewards. In addition, there are many behind-the-scenes tasks that are necessary to keep CrossPointe going. We need people who are gifted in finances - money management, grant writing, offering count and data entry.
CREATIVE ARTS TEAM
We worship a God of unimaginable creativity. He is an artist, and the universe is his canvas that displays his eternal power and divine nature. We desire to empower and release artists to share in telling the story of God through art in many different mediums (graphic design, photography, painting, set design, video production, short film, web design, etc).
