The Emmaus Project

A 3-Year Journey of Gospel Discipleship

What if you only had three years?
That question was born in the heart of our pastor after a sabbatical season of renewal and reflection. In a transient city like Orlando, we rarely get decades with people—but what if we could help every believer who walks through our doors encounter Jesus deeply, grow in gospel identity, and be equipped to live as part of God’s family?

The Emmaus Project is our church-wide discipleship path, inspired by Jesus’ walk with two disciples on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24). There, Jesus opened the Scriptures and helped them see that all of it points to Him. That’s our goal too.

Whether you’re here for three years or thirty, we want to help you walk the road of discipleship with Jesus—head, heart, and hands engaged. This four-part journey is designed to shape believers who know the Word, are grounded in their identity, belong to a church family, and live with gospel clarity in everyday life.

THE STORY OF GOD

THE STORY OF GOD

Seeing Jesus in All of Scripture

The Bible is not just a book of rules or disconnected stories—it’s one unfolding story of redemption that points to Jesus from beginning to end. Whether you’re new to the Bible or have read it for years, this journey through the entire biblical narrative will help you see the beauty, coherence, and power of God’s Word like never before.

We begin here because we believe that spiritual formation starts with Scripture. Understanding the Story of God gives believers a foundation to build a gospel-centered life on. It connects Genesis to Revelation and reveals Jesus as the Hero at the center of it all.

THE PEOPLE OF GOD

THE PEOPLE OF GOD

Discovering Your Identity in Christ

Who are you… really? In a world where identity is constantly shifting and shaped by achievement, approval, or past wounds, the gospel offers something better: a secure identity in Christ.

This section walks through the book of Ephesians, helping believers answer the core question: Who am I in Jesus? Before we can serve or lead or love well, we need to know who we are—chosen, redeemed, adopted, and sealed by grace. We explore not only what God has done for us but who He has made us to be.

THE HOUSE OF GOD

THE HOUSE OF GOD

Becoming the Church Together

Following Jesus isn’t a solo journey. We are called into a household—a spiritual family where Christ is the head and we grow together in grace, truth, and mission.

Through the book of 1 Timothy, this series explores what it means to be part of a gospel-shaped church. What makes a healthy church? Why does leadership matter? How do we live out our faith as the people of God, not just individuals, but a community on mission?

Whether you’re new to church or longing to go deeper, this is a vital part of your discipleship path.

Knowing God Deeply. Loving Him Fully.

At the heart of discipleship is not just doing for God, but knowing Him. Romans gives us a rich, Spirit-inspired glimpse into the character and work of God. It’s not dry theology—it’s soul-stirring truth that leads to transformed lives.

This final step in the Emmaus Project invites believers into the deep waters of God’s mercy, grace, sovereignty, and purpose. We move from rescue to renewal, from justification to joyful obedience. Theology isn’t just for scholars—it’s for the worshiper, the questioner, the stay-at-home parent, the college student, the new believer. It’s for you.

This journey through Romans will grow your affection for God, anchor your faith, and equip you to live out the gospel in every area of life.
